Day 6-

Happy Saturday everyone! It's a gloomy day again today but hubby is making the best of it and working on one of our house projects and getting the garage ready for paint. You know, all of those ongoing projects when you're a homeowner.Thankfully he seems to enjoy it and he's in his element. Can't let a cold dreary day get in the way of getting things accomplished. He says that April is a good time to finish all of them then he can enjoy the summer. Makes sense.

As for me, I have been inside today cleaning and cooking. Making Irish Beef Stew for dinner. Yum! Spending some time today planning my vegetable and flower gardens and hoping that this virus diminishes some before it's time to plant at the end of May.  I always enjoy the day that we go to the farm market to get the plants for our gardens. There is nothing better than digging in dirt and feeling a sense of renewal in the spring. The smell of the warm rain in spring, ahhh.. Nothing makes the gardens grow better! There is so much inspiration and peace in the garden.

I have decided to focus a bit less on my diet and to let the weight loss happen by mindfully watching the amount that I am eating. I really don't eat the wrong foods, I eat to much of the right foods. Does that make sense? I am not a bad eater just a volume eater. Calories in vs. Calories out. I need to watch that. That alone should lead to weight loss. Finger's crossed.

What inspires you the most?
