Day 10-
We went for a long ride today along the Lake Ontario State Parkway. Art, myself and our little (big) Collie girl Trixie. It was nice to get out of the house and to enjoy some fresh lake air. We explored somethings that I had never seen before. We drove through Point Breeze and looked at all the little cottages that line the lake shore. We also scouted out some cute little restaurants to go back to once this quarantine has lifted and we can get back to normal. I hope they all survive this craziness.
Next we drove out a bit further and stopped at Oak Orchard which is another really cute place along the lake. More cute cottages and we even saw someone walking their Collie and she was just as pretty as Trixie. Oak Orchard has a small but really beautiful lighthouse in a little park along the water. So worth the drive after enduring the bumpy road way that really needs repaving.

We drove to lakeside Beach which I always thought was one of the most beautiful parks along the Lakeshore. My husband and our youngest son have spent a lot of nights there with our dobsonian telescope stargazing along a dirt road adjacent to the park. A pain to haul in the car but so worth the view.

Next we drove around to just try and find somethings we had never seen before. We ended up in Kent, NY and found this gorgeous house (not the actual house but similar) This would be my dream home for sure:

There is so much that you can explore if even from your car. So many places near to our homes that are rich with history. I hope you enjoyed today's little journey along the Lake shore near my hometown.

Until tomorrow-Stay safe everyone!
